Citizens Bank & Trust Continues Next Steps in Strategic Leadership Transition Plan

LAKE WALES, FL – As part of a previously announced transitional leadership plan, Citizens Bank & Trust president, Steve Crisman, has assumed day to day leadership of the Bank. Chad Tagtow, who previously served as Senior Vice President and Chief Innovation Officer, has shifted leadership roles to become Chief Operating Officer, with a focus on operations, efficiencies, and technology. The changes became effective in January 2026.

Greg Littleton is the Chief Executive Officer, a focused role that allows him to concentrate on new strategic bank initiatives. Long-time Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Weymon Snuggs, will also continue to guide new business development and drive revenue growth, specifically in the Lakeland market, as the Chief Banking Officer. Both Littleton and Snuggs will work with Crisman and Tagtow on key strategic initiatives for the next few years.

“Working alongside Greg and Weymon over the last year, I’ve had a chance to witness firsthand how fortunate our customers and employees are to have such dedicated, servant leaders forging the path of our Bank,” shared president Steve Crisman. “We are incredibly appreciative of their past leadership, and we look forward to their continued service both at the Bank and throughout our community.”

The first phase of the planned succession in top leadership was introduced in January 2025 when Steve Crisman was named president. He joined the leadership team on March 31, 2025.

“The Board of Directors and Shareholders of Citizens Bank & Trust are grateful for the visionary leadership that Greg and Weymon have provided,” stated Latimer “Coot” Wilson, Chairman of the Board. “We are fortunate that both will remain working on behalf of the bank in support of Steve, Chad, and the entire leadership team.”

Littleton joined Citizens Bank & Trust in 1997 and was named president in 2001. In 2022, he was recognized as Banker of the Year by the Florida Bankers Association (FBA). He currently serves as vice chair of the Polk State College District Board of Trustees, as well as a member of the Board of Directors for AdventHealth Polk Market, Polk Vision, Winter Haven Economic Development Council, and FBA BankPac. His previous service also includes: Chair, Winter Haven Chamber of Commerce; two separate terms as Chair, Central Florida Development Council (CFDC); Chair, Lake Wales Chamber of Commerce; Chair, East Polk Committee of 100; Director, Polk Museum of Art (now the AGB Museum of Art); and Director, Lake Wales Arts Council. On the state level, he served as a director of the Florida Bankers Association and chaired BankServ, Inc., a wholly owned for-profit subsidiary of the Florida Bankers Association.

Littleton served as campaign chair for the United Way of Central Florida (UWCF) in 2024 and was recognized by the organization as 2025 Citizen of the Year. He is co-chairing the 2025 campaign with Weymon Snuggs, who previously chaired the campaign in 2008. Snuggs served as UWCF Board Chair in 2016. In 2015 he received the George W. Jenkins Volunteer of the Year award.

Snuggs has actively served in the community since moving to Lakeland in 1997. He currently serves on the YMCA Board of Directors and several committees for other nonprofit organizations. Snuggs is a past board chair of Lakeland Regional Health (LRH) Systems, the Lakeland Chamber of Commerce, Polk Museum of Art, United Way of Central Florida, Lakeland Volunteers in Medicine, and Lakeland Vision. He previously served on the boards of Orlando Health, VISTE, LRH Foundation, the Lakeland Chamber Foundation, and the Lakeland Firefighter Pension Fund Board.
