Carol L. Shira

Vice President and Trust Officer

Carol Shira joined Citizens Bank & Trust in 2000. As Vice President and Trust Advisor, Carol’s role is to work closely with clients to develop their financial and estate planning goals. She insures that their goals are carried out by leading the process of executing their plans. By assisting the client with each step, she makes sure they maintain the control needed to reach their vision for the future. Trust and estate administration are a few of the many duties Carol performs on behalf of her clients.

Carol has over 20 years’ experience in the financial industry including the areas of lending and bank branch management. She found her true love when she joined the Trust team of Citizens Bank & Trust. Carol finds personal and professional satisfaction when helping her clients and their families reach their goals.

Carol was born and raised in Elkhart, Indiana. She and her husband Bill moved to Winter Haven, which they have called home for over 20 years.

Carol is an avid sports fan and enjoys spending time outdoors biking, fishing and hiking to waterfalls when she and Bill can get away to their Smoky Mountain retreat in Western North Carolina.
