SMART Savers for Kids
Dear Parents:We often hear adults say children don't understand the value of money. Many constantly have their hands out expecting Mom or Dad to just buy them whatever they want. This desire for instant gratification often carries over into adulthood, where young people get into trouble with credit cards or make purchases they can't afford.
We encourage you to talk to your children about earning money and saving for those special purchases. You might also want to help your child set up an actual savings account at a local bank to start building positive attitudes about spending and saving money.
Your friends at Citizens Bank & Trust would like to become partners with your family to help your kids become “Smart Savers.” Call us or stop by if you'd like us to help you with this. To find our closest office, click here or call 863-676-7631 or 888-676-7631.
